2017 Holliday Graduates Receive Over $1.6 Million in Scholarships

The 2017 Holliday High School graduating class had 77 members and was awarded $1,623,939. in scholarship money, this total did not include financial aid or grants. 75% of the class plan to further their education at a college or trade school with the remainder of the class entering the military or the workforce. 88% of the class graduated on the Recommended or Distinguished Plan. The 4 year colleges/ universities and 2 year colleges they plan to attend include: 

Midwestern State University, Texas Tech University,Texas A&M, Austin College, Abilene Christian University, Hardin Simmons University, Tarleton State University, Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma University,University of Arkansas, University of Southern Arkansas,University of North Texas, Lubbock Christian University, Texas Women's University, Oral Roberts University, and University of Hawaii at Manoa.

2 year colleges include: Vernon College, Meridian Technical College, Navarro College, Weatherford College,South Plains College, Clarendon College, Western Texas College, and Universal Technical Institute in Irving.
