GUIDANCE PROGRAM

I would like to take this time to inform you about my responsibilities as your child’s school counselor.  My name is Aniece Anderson and I am the elementary and middle school counselor at Holliday ISD.  Some of the guidance services that I will provide this year include the following:

 

•       Teach classroom character education lessons

•       Counsel individual students as needed and maintain confidentiality

•       Counsel with small groups of students with similar concerns

•       Consult with teachers in meeting individual student needs

•       Coordinate state testing programs & grade level achievement tests

•       Coordinate and develop parent involvement activities

 

Individual and small group counseling will be done as needed, but if more extensive time in counseling is considered necessary, I will contact you for your permission.  If you have any questions or concerns or feel there is a need for counseling on a regular basis, please contact me at 586-9201 or aniece.anderson@esc9.net.  I am looking forward to a great school year.
