STAAR PARENT PORTAL INFORMATION
The Texas Assessment Student Portal provides students and parents with online access to a
student's state assessment scores. This portal will assist a student and his or her parents with
tracking assessment information throughout the student's academic career, specific student
responses, and ways to help the student in the future.
  
The portal provides scores from the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness
(STAAR), STAAR Alternate (includes STAAR Alternate 2), and the Texas English Language
Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS).

OPTION #1 

Access to your child’s STAAR/STAAR ALT 2/EOC/TELPAS scores are accessible through the
Ascender Parent Portal. Follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Ascender Parent Portal account through the following link menu:
https://portals09.ascendertx.com/ParentPortal/login?distid=005902

***This is the same username and password you used to register your student for the school year. If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password?” link. 

2. Under your child’s name and picture, there is a section titled “Published Grades." The Texas Assessment button will take you directly to the Texas Assessment Family Portal, where you can see your child’s latest available STAAR results and results from previous years. 

Once you are in the Assessment Parent Portal, you will see your child’s scores. Follow the pictures below to help you navigate the page. The Texas Education Agency has tried to make the Parent Portal a resource for students and parents to understand the test results and a resource for ways to help your child succeed. 

Click on the View Detailed Report button to see this next screen and specific results of your 

child’s test.

IF you CAN NOT get into the Ascender Parent Portal, then you can go to the Texas Assessment website https://www.texasassessment.gov/ and follow the steps below.  

If you do not have the Unique Student Access Code, look under the Sign On button for Information and Support.
