Welcome to the 2023-24 school year!

           My name is Miranda O’Neal, and I am the middle school counselor at Holliday ISD.

           Some of the counseling services that I will provide this year include the following:

•  Teach classroom character education lessons
• Provide short-term, solution-focused counseling to individual students as needed
• Referrals to the counselor can be made by students, teachers, or parents. Parents can make a request by email, phone call, or by using the “HMS Parent/Guardian Counseling Referral Form” found on the Counselor’s Corner of the Middle School webpage
• Counsel with small groups of students with similar concerns as needed
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators in meeting student needs
• Coordinate state testing programs & grade level achievement tests
• Social Service Coordination
• 504 Coordination
