Test Prep and College Planning  - official ACT student website  - official SAT website, college searches, Big Future…. good info!! - click on TOPCAT for test prep  - good test review site - test prep, virtual college tours….great site! – great way to visit a college when you can’t make the trip! or – college search in a social network format - Region 9 Testing, Education and Reference Center – after clicking on the database type in - wic30602 as the password, then at bottom right click on The Family College Planning Center.


Application for Admission – application for all 4 year & most 2 year Texas public colleges & universities

*Look on the college website if you are planning on applying out of state or at a private college for further instructions. – application used by 315 selective colleges and universities


Scholarship Searches           



$$$$$ Financial Aid $$$$$ – you cannot submit until after October 1st of your senior year but prepare ahead by looking at the info onlineWe will have a FAFSA workshop for parents at HHS in October.  


*The FAFSA is the most important thing you can complete for financial aid – ALL scholarships, grants, & student loans are determined through these results! – student loan / grant information        


Athletes – you have to register your senior year if you are interested in trying to play sports at a college level – Division I or II (I will need to send a transcript so let me know if you register) – new registration website for athletes at NAIA level schools
